Hey, I'm a bit lost about how to find an existing client for the software dev SAT, and was wondering how other people did it? Any sort of help would be much appreciated!!

You can partially make up your own scenario. A client can be anyone really, such as your parents or older siblings.

For example, if your dad is a chef, consider making a Restaurant Inventory Tracker (totally not what I did). Or if your parents are accountant or something, make a program to track deadlines. As long as your data collection document is half believable it should be fine. The main positive of finding a client is that you can keep your folio realistic and have realistic function and non-function requirements that you can abide to.
