As a Bulldogs supporter who attended the game, I was extremely disappointed with the way they wasted their opportunities. There were no glimpses of their brilliance that served them well in their previous rounds and I think it comes down to lacking our three top defenders: Robert Murphy, Matt Suckling and Jason Johanissen. Also, it was frustrating that Tom Cambell and Jordan Roughead missed three easy shots at goal between them. In regards to North Melbourne's play, I think their experience, especially in setting up attack was the defining aspect of their win, but they seem to be ahead of themselves after unconvincingly beating a team that is missing many of their top players. Should be exciting to see how N.M.'s season goes, next few games are extremely winnable for them but it will start to get quite intense in the second half of the year. As for the Bulldogs, next week is a 'must win' to reaffirm our state as contenders for 2016, but I'm more hopeful for the future seasons.
Cheers
