what a coincidence, a VCAL member. glad to see. Although i must disagree with you, i'm not generalizing anything, VCAL is dead easy. I've seen my mates hw before... he aced it even though he failed all yr levels of maths prior to VCAL.

The VCAL student's at my school, when they aren't organizing some event to raise funds or bring awareness to something, are usually walking up and down the corridors of the school yelling and make strange sounds. But usually they just organize excursions for themselves to galactic circus.

The people that do VCAL at my school are either the fuck tards that :

-disrupted class purposely, talked back to the teachers, or didn't give a shit about anything.

There are probably like 6 or 7 people that actually committed their time to finishing work and participating in classes. They knew that VCE wouldn't allow them to follow their chosen pathway, so that's why their doing VCAL.

You cant really say that they couldn't handle VCE, only unless they were one of those dickheads that seem to be in abundance at my school.

We can be all politically correct and say how its for those who prefer "hands on learning" and "different path". But in essence it is for those who can not handle the VCE, and would have probably dropped out otherwise.

The VCE is relatively easy to 'handle' though. If you do the bare minimum, you will pass. Even people who get an ENTER of 2 have still technically passed. I think 'not suited to VCE' would be more accurate. Surely some VCAL students could actually get a VCE certificate if no other option was available (granted, I would say that VCAL is full of people who would have dropped out of VCE if they had to do it).
