Somehow managed to pull a 99.55. Extremely relieved. Too tired to be ecstatic since I pulled an all nighter.
Obviously English fcked me over like it has for my whole high-school career :(

Absolutely devastated. I was aiming for a 38 in Bio and instead got a 35 with a B+ on the exam. Was not expecting it to be that low at all. Far out I feel so deflated and like this whole years hard work was for nothing. B+ on the exam. So disappointed in myself. I thought I'd get at least an A on the exam.

This was my only subject this year. Is there a way to feel less bummed out?

I'd say the best way to deal with it is to move on! Easier said than done, definitely, but I promise dwelling on it isn't worth it. Last year I worked my butt off in Bio and I was super disappointed with my exam (before receiving the study score). The fact that it was my only subject made it 10x worse because I just dwelled on it. Now at the end of this year bio isn't even in my top 4 (Even though I thought it would be), and so 5 study score points would barely make a difference. In hindsight, I really wish I didn't spend so much time worrying about it and it all ended up pretty good in the end (: Don't worry about it! And good luck for next year

Managed a 42 for my Methods (Yay!)
Admittedly would've liked maybe one or two marks higher, but I'm happy with it.
Anyone know what that will roughly scale up to?

Maybe around 47? Mine was scaled up ~5. Well done!

Thank you!! I'll happily take that.
Now I'm just interested on how I did on my respective exams. I know I got roughly 36 odd on Paper 1, but I didn't bother checking for Paper 2 (didn't really want my self-esteem jumping off a cliff XD)

45 in Bio!  :o
A surprise, to be sure, but a welcome one. Especially considering how I thought my SACs doomed me! Not bad, not bad at all. I'm far too hopped up on adrenaline to have a clearer thought process, so I'll leave this here.

You can get a statement of marks if you want to know exactly - I think it costs something like $10-15

ATAR 99.35
Study Scores (Raw)
Biology 49
Methods 45
English 38
Chemistry 46
Specialist 43
Physics 42

Disappointed with the scores I got, but evidently for different reasons than others may have in this thread. Biology and methods were the subjects I did in year 11, and I achieved excellent results in those subjects. I was hoping to match last year's performance this year, but it seems that did not happen.

Does anybody know how much Bio scaled up this year?

each year it was generally scaled up by 1 (checked it on atar calculator) so this year will be similar I guess

I get ya. It's hard when you set yourself up with high expectations. It's perfectly valid to feel however about your results (even though other people may have their perceptions of good and bad it's all about your perception of what you hoped for).

Ovetime, this'll be less significant to you - and if you really want to prove yourself you can always smash out assessments in uni! :)
