Stressing about study scores at the moment :S
I understand that they're difficult to predict, but I was wondering whether you guys could give me a rough estimate?
I need an ATAR of at least 85, but my dream ATAR is 92.
English: 86/100 for U3
              82/100 for U4
              A in the exam.
I go to a public school and my English class is really weak, with an average mark of about a D, so I'm number one in the class. As for the cohort ( a total of five English classes), I'm not sure, but probably top 10 out of 100. How do you guys get your cohort ranking?!

Chem: Only one chem class, and ranked first with average sac marks of A or A+. Mid year was B+, aiming for A+ in the end of year.
Physics: Again, only one class, and ranked first with similar average sac marks. Mid year was B+, third highest result, behind some guys who somehow pulled off an A and A+ with relatively lower sac marks. Again, A+ in the end of year exam.
Methods: Probably ranked 2nd or 3rd. A in the end of year exam.
History: Ranked 2nd. This is my "i don't care" subject. B in the end of year exam.

What do you think?
THANKS!!!

English, probably 35-38
Chem, around 35 - of you get a high A+ (people can get 3 A+'s and get a 39)
Physics, same as for chem
Methods, around 38 - if you can pull of an A+, you might get a crack at 40
History, 30+

Ah, they seem close to my predictions. Cheers. It seems that 85 can be achieved even with low 30s in each  of my subjects (atarcalc!), but 92 is a little harder :P
I suppose 92 is a distant possibility... although I shouldn't succumb to that misguided optimism I see so much on this site/ amongst my peers.
"Theoretically, if I were to get an A+ on everything..."  :P
I do feel a lot better about U4 physics and chem, however. Seems like there's much less material... I remember spending weeks trying to remember all those stupid analytic techniques in U3 chem. NMRS,UV-VIS, IR, AAS, AES...
