Hey everyone,

Asking this question on behalf of a friend. He's interested in the Commerce/Science double degree. What sort of career prospects can come out of this degree? Or is he better off just doing a single degree?

Cheers

A mathematics/statistics major in Science (along with a major in Finance) is an excellent way into most Finance related jobs. Places like Investment banks, Merchant banks, Accounting Firms, Insurance firms love graduates who have good quantitative skills.

Usually, i dont think you'd ever really be worse off for doing a double degree. You'd either have the same prospects as before or more.
