Year 10 science knowledge required to take physics 1/2?

Next year I'll be taking physics 1/2 in year time without prior knowledge of year 10 science. Would this put me at a disadvantage or does it not really matter?

Is there anything essential that I should learn before going in to physics 1/2?

yeah one of my friends was in the same boat. a lot of the physics stuff is taught from pretty low level which they then build upon so you should be fine :)
