I really want to perfect my psych 3/4 this year. Which is better for psych? Writing or typing?

I like handwriting notes because the information sinks into your brain better.

Do both. You learn better when you handwrite, but typed notes are really flexible and easy to manipulate/edit and easy to study on the go on your laptop and can be emailed, on USB etc.
Really is good if you have an iPad or some kind of tablet.

Both. Typed notes because they can be put on your phone, computer, iPod, etc. and are more customizable. Hand written to stimulate exam conditions.. since in the exam you will be writing by hand.

It helped me to write it all down first, then type it up :)

The more you write, the more you will remember and get used to it :)

I prefer handwriting, the information does tend to sink into you're brain. I hand write all my psych notes :)

I wrote mine for Unit 3 and typed them up for Unit 4. With writing, it's much easier to add information when you learn something new. I found it much easier to add little details to case studies or redefining definitions having typed it up. But then again, I do agree with the posts above. It does sink in profoundly when you do write it out :)
