Bachelor of Business (Monash) Questions

Hi,
I'm planning to complete a Bachelor of Business from Monash University (Caufield) and was wondering if anyone who had already completed it could give their opinion on the course?

I have a few questions to ask: 

⚬ what major would you suggest that is most looked for by employers?
⚬ is the degree worth the fee charged (or are there similar courses offered by other universities?)
⚬ how did you find traveling to campus?
⚬ how (most of the different types) of lectures are taught at the university for business?
⚬ did you require tutoring for anything and was the support offered if you required assistance?
⚬ how did you find seeking a job after graduation?
⚬ Does graduating from Monash add anything additional to your degree? E.G (easier job acceptance?)
⚬ What are some minors you would suggest completing? (to assist further study)
⚬ if you lived (or are currently living) nearby the Caufield campus how would you describe your experience?

Answers to any of the questions above are helpful!

I can’t help with a lot of these questions but I can help with this particular one in the quote below:

⚬ is the degree worth the fee charged (or are there similar courses offered by other universities?)

Most unis (apart from specialist colleges) generally go with Commonwealth Supported Places (CSPs) for a business degree, including Monash, so they all make you pay the same amount no matter whether you go to, say, Deakin, Swinburne or Monash. CSPs usually are categorised according to study area e.g. business, so you’d pay a specific amount for the course area vs. Uni you attend.

It is generally banded, in the way described in this link.

The only way the fee would change is if you chose to do a different area e.g. commerce might differ in fee price, or a different level of degree e.g. Diploma.

In terms of worth, it depends on the person, what job they’re after and what they value.
