You're right for the first one but it's B for the second one. Because the distance is so big, optic fibre is needed so that there is faster transmission at segment 3. The last segment is more likely to be a twisted-pair cable than a coaxial cable because it's mainly used for audio and visual purposes (very short distances) e.g. connecting your VCR to your TV. What paper is the second one?
Did HSC in 2016 and was first person to get 100. Aeronautical engineering for me now :P

What paper is the second one?

I know it's older than 2010 HSC. Other than that, I don't remember

Well, I found that the question is from the 2001 HSC. The answers say it's B...

Concerning wireless transmission, how important is it to know the frequency ranges of different types?ie that bluetooth works on a 2.45GHz frequency
