Proctor Thesis

I just wanted some quick feedback on this mini thesis I have come up with, and also wanted to know if it made sense/what I need to add/remove.

Thesis: If Proctor is considered a 'superman' to a certain extent (referencing Nietzsche's philosophy), a guiding 'light' for Salem, and God is considered the 'ultimate superman', Proctor's personal struggle throughout the witch trials is reflective of people's struggle with religion, theocracy and sense of self in the time period of the 'red terror'; a time where people struggled with the grasping of the ideals surrounding them, and were on their own personal journey of finding individual meaning in their own lives whether that be with the guidance of religion or merely using their personal consciousness as a compass, a starting point.
