Biology 3/4 SAC Results

Hey Team

I just got my mark for my second SAC of Unit 3 Biology - I got 76%. I feel really disheartened considering for my first SAC I got 93% and I thought I did pretty good here too, but clearly not. Anyways currently we池e in unit 4 and working through the prac SAC, whilst I知 having year 11 semester exams, so I知 abit overwhelmed, however I知 hoping to bounce back and regain my composure, and smash this one to make my scores good again. I was just wondering if anyone had any advice on how to improve and feel just as motivated to do better without discouraging myself for the previous result? And also if anyone could help me out and tell me if this by any means (76%) will drastically affect my ability to get a study score of 40+?

Thank you
Shahifa

In terms of how your SAC scores affect your final study score, the short answer is - it really depends. The first factor is your actual rank within your cohort, that is, if the average is 50% and you scored 76%, then I'd say you're not doing too bad. Generally speaking, as long as you're ranked relatively well within your cohort, you should be fine. Of course however, this brings us to the next point, which is cohort strength. The stronger your cohort, the less your rank matters. At the end of the year, your SACs scale with respect to how your cohort performs on the exam. For example, if you're rank 10, but everyone above you smashes the exam, then your SACs are likely to scale up. Problems only arise when the people above you don't perform well or its a weak cohort, which can cause SACs to scale down. But at the end of the day, I'd say don't worry too much since you've still got a couple more SACs left and you did relatively well on your first SAC.

If according to the above sharing, my SAC score is not too bad, and I need to try harder in the next exam.
