Hey guys can anyone help with this question?
I'm not really sure what it's asking for...

State two key components of a reconstrcuted memory following manipulation of memory as proposed by Elizabeth Loftus.

All help is appreciated  -

GOOD LUCK TO ALL ON THEIR EXAM/S !

A re-constructed memory following the manipulation of memory does have two components. This is as when a person reconstructs memory they use all information that is available in LTM. This means that a person retrieves accurate information about the actual experience from memory and inaccurate information that was given to them after the experience (from some source).

I'd include source confusion in that definition too; which is integrating accurate information with pressuppisitions etc from misleading questions

is it "leading questions" or "misleading questions" ?

Some books/exams say different things... Are they the same?

The Grivas book says "Leading questions", however I guess they both do the same thing - mislead a person and cause them to "reconstruct" their memory of an event
