2012 Exam!

The media board is a little dead so I was wondering - how is everyone preparing for the exam?
I've been trying to go through practice exams but I keep putting off media because of all the exams I have earlier..

just of curiosity what practice exams are you doing? cant seem to find any other than the vcaa ones and since its under a new study design this year (with minor changes) just trying to find external practice exams

We've been using the vcaa ones but my teacher has just changed the social value questions to fit the new study design... I think ATOM have a few exams - that's the exam our class had for our official practice exam in october.. Other than that I'm not sure though! Sorry I'm not much help!

In what way have the social questions changed? could you give us an example of one of the questions your teacher has made?

pretty sure the only thing that has changed is the term 'discourse' and more emphasis on audience nothing major

Yeah there really wasn't much of a change other than that what guest101 said  and that we now study a range of texts in social values rather than just one...  So from discussing two representations in one text, talk about two in different texts etc. The changes aren't that big that the VCAA papers from old study design still work for revision

I've done three... How about you guys? What films are you studying?

I've done two practise exams, studying The Social Network and Love Actually for narrative
