Hey all, I am considering enrolling in a few writing courses because I have lost many marks in my assignments due to my poor writing as I make grammatical errors, have poor punctuation and writing is not very clear etc. I have looked at a few writing courses that RMIT offer such as:

Links:
1.Clear writing: http://www.shortcourses.rmit.edu.au/course_page.php?course=S345089
2.General English - Upper-Intermediate Level: http://www.shortcourses.rmit.edu.au/course_page.php?course=S004010
3. Grammar and Punctuation- http://www.shortcourses.rmit.edu.au/course_page.php?course=S345043
4. Grammar Fundamentals- http://www.shortcourses.rmit.edu.au/course_page.php?course=S004008

Has anyone done these courses before? If you have, was the course worth it?. Secondly, do you feel as though your English skills improved at the end of the course?. Also, do these courses require an upfront payment? Lastly, I would appreciate any other recommendations for other writing courses. Thank you!

Monash offers academic writing, you will also get credit points and a mark out of it too. Perhaps worth considering that?
