Unit 4 Outcome 2 HELP!

Hi all!,

I am new to this forum. Have been reading all the other topics and loving this forum

Just need some help for  Unit 4 Outcome 2 the last SAC in IT APPS (woo last SAC)

My SAC is next friday so a week from today, and we just finished learning the content.

My teacher is using for the SAC a SAC from VITTA.

Just need some help about what to know and etc.

For my SAC, there were questions on:
1. Consequences of data loss (loss of income, loss of reputation etc.)
2. Identify the breach of law (and name the law and how) - make sure you memorise each law along with the date (and have a rough idea what it covers).
3. Identify the ethical problem
4. Identify threats to data and provide a strategy to fix this problem (had to list 5).
5. Name advantages of cloud computing
6. Disadvantages of cloud computing
7. Design a data recovery plan (focus on the entire back up process)
8. How to test the data recovery plan
9. Evaluation criteria.

Think there were a couple of other questions, can't remember them.
For all questions you had to make it relevant to the scenario provided.

I found it was a pretty easy sac, completed it in about 30 to 40 minutes (spent the rest of the time double checking thoroughly). Just cram information from Mark Kelly's website, it pretty much has everything you need to know. Don't neglect any advice from your teacher, they might be dropping hints about the SAC.

Thank you for the response, my teacher droped a practise SAC on us then when reading the questions reliased it was different.

So he basicly gave us 10 out of the 11 questions for the SAC.

The trouble im haivng with the practise SAC is applying the information to the case, in a worded answer. Making another exce spreadsheet a breeze, worded answers not a breeze .

Yeah, sure go ahead and PM the questions and I might be able to help you a bit.

The first thing that I like to do on the practice sacs and the actual sac is read through the scenario and underline and annotate it.
I've put together an example using the "Rype Computer Security" practice sac. It's from Page 73 of the Study Design (one of the example outcomes for teachers). This was the one that Huss48 uploaded.

I have better practice sacs that would be a better example, but I don't want to breach copyright (especially when the sac teaches you about not breaching it lol).

I'll edit my post when I've finished annotating it. I'm trying to go into as much detail as I can. I wouldn't normally annotate this heavily in sac conditions.

Rype Computer Security is the practise SAC he gave us.

Just relisaed I typed up the questions at school and didnt send them home :/

I've uploaded my annotated copy of it. To view the annotates, just hover over the highlighting or double click the highlighted text.

This one was pretty different to my SAC. The sacs I did described someone who was a complete idiot, rather than someone well-versed in computer security. That made annotating and finding flaws easier.

For that reason I also annotated an old study design sac, Bunyip Libraries.

I would have liked to show you the QATs ones written by Mark Kelly, but like I said, I don't want to infringe on copyright, since schools are meant to buy those ones.
