THIS THREAD IS FOR DICUSSING THE GRAND FINAL ONLY.

HOW SAINTS MANAGED THE DRAW:
#1 Lenny Hayes from 50m out.
#2 Goddard's leap with 6m left in the fwd 50
#3 Travis Cloke's left foot

Who else thought Goddard should've won Norm Smith?

Their faces were priceless.

EVERYONE. Even the crowd. Bahahahahaha.

Who else thought Goddard should've won Norm Smith?
The commentators kept going on about him as well...

Yeh but Goddard's screamers were worth 2x marks. Seriously though, I hope they don't change the rule. It's hilarious for everyone (except for y'know, the players.)

Not hilarious for EVERYONE; its AWESOME for the betting companies...more money...on a side note; what happens to the money? do the bookies keep it all?

^^ Would imagine the bet is refunded if a 'Draw' is not offered to bet on.

Bookies keep it. Draw was paying 34:1 apparently, would have been good to put $10 on that.

I picked Hayes for norm smith though so :)

Or they could be making TONS of money if a "Draw" is offered to bet on... Gambling sucks.

In reality the odds of a draw are way worse than 34:1, but yeah, they would have made a KILLING.

You sure? My dad said he got like ~60% of his bet back apparently. I think the companies just want you to go back and bet again.

Yeah, I thought on a draw you get half of the dividend because you like half won and half lost.
