Man, I thought all the hard work and stress was over after year 12 was finished...

Reading all of these posts makes it seem like uni's requires even more time and effort and causes even more stress thank year 12... wtf...

YEAH LOL

I hate everyone who said work gets easier after yr12. Biggest. Trolls. Ever.

But you guys are making it seem like it's actually crazy hard or something...
My dad has always told me and given me the impression that uni's easier than year 12

I guess it depends on the course.

But yr12 was a joke compared to what I'm doing now :P

It's easier throughout the semester because you have no obligation to actually do any work

the hard work and self hatred comes in the week before your exam when you realise you have to learn a semester's worth of material

I think Uni is way emotionally easier than Year 12 but more 'difficult' intellectually (even though I haven't hit anything difficult yet, #firstyearartslol)

I've found uni as emotionally hard, if not harder, than Year 12. Trying to keep up-to-date with everything is a bitch, as well as trying to minimise marks lost.

The trick is to do a course that has no assessment from February until November, when there are 2 four hour exams (come November you'll be able to find me in my cave of sadness and despair)

Would this just be because the pressure for you is the same? Ie. VCE - have to score crazy high to get into the course you're aiming for. Uni - have to score crazy high to get into the course you're aiming for. ,whereas for everyone else it's different?

Yeah, that's the main reason why - trying to get mainly H1s and H2As and I really want to try get the best GPA I can.

At VCE there was time to slack off though, if you slack off in university for like a week or two then it's feels like you're trying to climb Mt. Everest.

If you're in first semester of first year, relax, your marks there are pretty inconsequential for your GPA.
