For the second years and later, I'm finding it a lot more difficult to cram second year units as compared to first year units. I feel like I'm going to run out of time, in the sense that there's too much in the second year units to cram properly in swotvac... Just wondering if anyone else has had this happen to them in the past or if I've just lost my swotvac cramming ability?
Yeah I'm finding that this is the case as well with 2nd year units. I kind of expected it though, because I guess lecturers would understand that first year is a transition year so they may be more lenient with exam material and content. However, I presume they would have expectations that once you get into 2nd year and onwards you'll have learnt and developed the basic skills to study and learn progressively through the semester and REVISE throughout the semester
I'm not sure if it's the units specifically or maybe I'm just burning out a little, but a couple of my subjects seem a very daunting process for exam revision... The content to cover is quite substantial and in more qualitative subjects the expectations of your responses seem to be quite high especially for your analysis. I'm finding a pretty big step in math subjects too in that there are a lot more theories compared to first year and that the methods and processes that you use to solve problems are much more loaded and require extensive understanding and linking of concepts.
In a simple sentence, things are not looking good for a couple of my exams!
