If I am to convert my WAM into a GPA, how would I go about doing it?

Would I use the 4 point scale or 7 point scale?

And is this correct?
H1 = HD
H2A and H2B = D
H3 = C
P = P

And then I just use a Monash uni GPA calculator or something, right?
I'm pretty sure that those HD/H1 conversions are correct.

Depends which GPA you want to calculate.
Monash GPA is /4
UoM GPA is /7

There is no straight conversion between GPAs.

Do people have any idea when they release the results for summer subjects? Currently waiting on Linear Algebra.

Weeks? Really? According to the ask.unimelb it should be within 20 days, and I've heard that it is sometimes before the start of semester.

Hi, I'm doing Principles of Finance (which I assume you're doing too) :P
It says "Please note that I will not be distributing any hard copies of the subject outline or lecture notes in class. You should make sure that you bring the lecture notes with you the form in which you prefer. There are three popular formats that I’ve uploaded and from these you can also create your own desired combination, if needed."
I expect the tutorial questions will need to be printed out by yourself. What they mean by "original" is that you've written it yourself, presumably in ink, and it hasn't been photocopied or have printed answers. It's just a way of making sure it's your own work and not something you've found online and printed off :P

Can you take second year electives in  first year?

And if you do, do you need to make up for the lack of first year Electives later?

From what I've read, they only place a limit on the maximum number of first year subjects you can do; not a minimum that you have to do.

Fitted all my tutes on 1 day...this is going to be a huge change for a guy who went to uni from 9.00-6.30pm everyday last year. I'll effectively only go 1 day now 9-5pm. Probably a welcome change as the city life is getting kinda repetitive for me, as you'd expect.

On another note, did anyone go to the sleepover at Union House? I'm curious to hearing out how it actually went lol

Yep! Even though I did a summer subject, the holidays kinda got long winded at the end. Keen to learn new stuff and meet new people :)
