Do you think artistic expression is a good way to let off steam?

Heck yeah - I'm in for this!
Nah, I'm good.
I'd love to, but I have no time. :,(

Hello AN'ers, a VERY late submission haha but I've decided to jump on board this arts thread even though I can barely hold a pencil correctly ;D Anyway you guys are all SO freaking talented and the artworks on here absolutely blows my mind!!

Not a drawing but it's a photo that fits the beach theme. Not exactly sure if it counts as my work as the photo's taken by a friend, but I'm the guy in the photo so...
Procrastinating at Middle Park Beach

This is really cool!
Just curious, were you in the middle of a back-flip, or just jumping? It kinda looks like it could be either.  :)

Alright, I think it's about time for us to pick this up again. What do you think? :D

Okay, the theme for the next fortnight is:
copying this from google with zero shame

Why not try drawing or writing on your ideal getaway? Snap a picture of the sunset outside the beach house? Describe your shopping experience, the feeling of freedom as the world stretches out below you from a mountain peak? Do what you want to - this topic is meant to challenge you to try and capture not just an image, but a feeling.

This topic closes on the 4th of December. Have a great week, all! <3

This reminds me of my first time in a different state without my parents- I took this snap on my old phone, so it's not the greatest qual, but it was a trip/holiday I took during the midsemester break in semester 1, shortly before my birthday in April! :D

I don't know if this is even relevant but here we go anyway... A photo I took on Saturday of my next-door neighbour's gorgeous girls!! This is what I feel like when schools out and holidays come! :D

Not sure how well this fits the prompt but here's my attempt:
Spoiler
In the distance, mountains stretch to the sky. Their greenery is broken up by splashes of grey where cliff faces are too steep for even the smallest of plants. Behind these faces, networks of caves twist and turn towards the summit, where snow gums and spagnum moss reside. It's here that snowmelt is caught and released to form the start of a river. The water powers around rocks as white foam, and creates music to drown out the rest of the world. It winds its way through lush glades framed by dappled sunlight and feeds surrounding mountain ash. It shimmers, transparent, over riverbeds lined with rocks and sand. It roars down waterfalls and into rainforest, where towering red gums and shaded ferns line its banks. It leaves birdsongs behind as it meanders to the ocean. Here especially, water does not rest. Thunderous waves race up sandy shores and shatter into spray along rock pools. Each litre teems with life and presents gradients of sparkling green-blue. The expanse ranges beyond the purple horizon where sea meets sky. When night falls, the inky blackness is difficult to distinguish except for the glimmering glow of stars. Under their light, unobscured by light pollution or clouds, a world of calming energy flows on.

Dunno how well this fits “happy holidays”. But here are some pics I took from a lookout in Arthur’s Seat over the Mornington Peninsuala.
Could fit the theme since it is a big tourist destination.

Today's the 4th! This topic closes at midnight tonight. Thanks for the amazing entries so far!! (And guys, the number of people who are saying 'dunno if this fits the theme' is hilarious - as long as it's your own interpretation of the phrase, it's correct!)

Here's something I did, because sleeping is part of a very happy holiday:

I've been experimenting a lot with my new tablet, so this is done in Sketchable. Not the best but also not the worst.

Again, so many good entries! Looking forward to a couple more before the deadline :))

I hope there’s no one-submission-per-person limit ;D

The holidays is a good time to try out new things – for example, record a song using fancy as professional equipment that I do not actually know how to use.

I’m gonna call this a “voice reveal” lol
[removed]

Here's the original song - The Score - Revolution

Btw love that drawing Poet! Literally me the day after exams finished lol.
