I have forgotten how to graph the residual plot on the TI89. Any help appreciated, I use the Stat/List editor program but forgot the method.

Thanks in advance.

thanks man, i can't get L2 to be the 'resids' on my calc. when i define it is comes up with undefined variable.

any clue?

1.  Go into Stats/List
2.  Press F4.
3.  Select 3:Regressions.
4.  Select 1:LinReg (a+bx).
5.  Define which list is the x variable and which list is the y variable
6.  Press enter to see the equation.
7.  Press enter again to close the dialog box.

If you want to draw it:
1.  Press F2
2.  Select 1:Plot Setup
3.  Press F1
4.  Define which list is on the x axis.
5.  You want the residual to be on the y axis so scroll down to you see y, press 2nd and then the minus sign.
6.  Scroll down until you see resid.
7.  Select that.
7.  Hit OK.
8.  Press F5 to see the plot.
