the new CAS A+ Notes is the first edition, i say to buy it since it will be relevant to your methods that you're undertaking this year.

the new CAS checkpoints is very thin, but i bought it over the normal methods.

btw, the new 2009 checkpoints are the ugliest books ever produced; front cover makes you vomit. http://www.cambridge.org/us/catalogue/catalogue.asp?isbn=0521739810
no joke

I found A+ notes (non-CAS) to be good, not great.

Haha I agree. Why can't they just stick to the abstract blend of colours?

I didnt know know they had a cas one this year so I just used the normal methods book. Its a good book, excellent for revising before a sac or exam. The notes in the book are also good for reminding you of important tips etc.

lol I know NEAP make study guides for unit 1/2, but as useful as they may be I'm not sure it's worth it going hardcore in preparation of 1/2 exams
