Our conversation-carry has gone offline XD
I've got a question (kind of personal, nonetheless a question)

What made you try out for JMSS? (Suzanne Cory in Galactic's sake :PP)
My cousin convinced me, as he went there. But basically, I think the school has people like me and the kind of environment that I like: one of curiosity. I also, along with maths and science, I love music and just started conducting cause my school has a pretty good music program now. And along with not being able to study Latin, but apparently, JMSS has a pretty good music program and I can hopefully properly conduct! and previously I solved the problem about being able to study Latin too so I'm all good!

I tried out because I really felt a strong sense of belonging there (sorry I sound lame lol) and their facilites were great, as was their method of teaching. I also thought being around those who had similar interests and dreams and aspirations to mine would be beneficial xD

what are you guys' hobbies/ things to do in your spare time?
I like reading, playing guitar, songwriting, singing, whatching docs and playing overwatch lol
I absolutely love playing cricket! I'll play any sport actually, been into basketball recently. I enjoy listening to music, specifically hindi/punjabi (none of you can relate haha), dancing is pretty fun, I don't mind a good read, I used to do karate, and find that very fun, and of course being on AN!  ;D

A lot. Playing the piano (which I'm not really good at); science; music-related stuff; and MATHS. That's right, I do maths in my spare time for FUN, 'but that's mainly so I have the required maths knowledge to study physics properly; Oh I also do karate too, but that's just an outside of school activity.
I gotta go to bed now, so goodnight to all!

Be a bit more positive haha. It can go a long way! Alright I'm not saying that it'll get you into the school, but in other walks of life it will do wonders!

Not too sure about second round offers however I'd assume that some places would open up. I would think that some people may decline the offer and hence second round offers will come into play but only time will tell eh? :)

Good luck! I'm pretty sure you'll do well.
I'm going to repost this in case you need some last minute preparation or something.

• What field of science do you enjoy most?
• What do you want to be when you grow up?
• What will you miss about your old school?
• Why do you want to come to John Monash?
• What are 5 attitudes a successful scientist must have?
• What are your strengths and weaknesses?
• What is your proudest achievement?
• What hobbies do you have?
• Why is science important and how can it help in the future?

Thank you

Wait, so did you get an email for interview?

Yes, I did. Mine is for yr 11 though

When will JMSS release the result? like morning, noon or evening?
Never reject an idea, dream or goal simply because it will be hard work. Success rarely comes without it.

They'll probably release them in some kind of order, so I recon they'll be coming out for a few days at all times.
