what were the prompts this year?
Stuff about Port Philip Bay's water quality, and for the prac it was about pretty much just about elastic potential energy ^^

Yup, it was easier than I thought. I think I performed mathematics the best (MCQ). I actually did around 50 questions, and guess the other 10.  Btw, I met Shadestouche while waiting to go into the building, and it was a good chat. :D Anyway, good luck with both interview and the result of whether you're accepted or not.

I saw this group of three girls and I was gonna go "ATAR NOTES?" but then they probably weren't any of you guys ;o;

Same here. It was less than I expected. My desk number was 423. In the selective high school exam, there were more than 2000 students trying our for it, and my desk number was 1550.

Not sure how I went.......did 20~25q for science reasoning, 60 for mathematics, and 43~45 for numerical reasoning....... I drew a graph for the prac, and a diagram explaining global warming for the second one.........

I'm sure you guys all did great today! Try not to dwell on any mistakes you feel like you've made and instead focus yourself on starting semester 2 super strong :)) It's not worth letting yourselves get caught up in worry about the results, you did your best I'm sure and thats what matters !

HOW DID YOU GUYS DO.
i'm so sad i didn't see any of you guys!!
the guy said 800 people but i saw seat numbers past 1000.... either way, it's a lot less than i thought.
science reasoning was ok. there weren't actually any SCIENCE science questions which was urgh so annoying studying all that for nothing. i finished 30 questions right when he said 5 minutes left. i think i potentially got 5-7 questions wrong, max 8.
numerical was actually so easy guys, i was freaking out because numerical at selective last year was an actual bomb, but the number patterns were SO EASY. i didnt get to the last 5-ish questions, but i guessed quite a few cos they would take too long - potentially 10-ish wrong??
the first science essay i think was actually quite strong. i drew this uber shaky graph lol and wrote out the formula and everything. for the prac. tried to use some big words. i think it was good.
is it just me or was the maths SO EASY. GUYS. IT WAS SO MUCH EASIER THAN LAST YEAR. i actually finished the test (kinda proud of myself) but i guessed a few. potentialy 5 wrong?
the last essay wasnt that good for me. it wasnt until a few minutes left when the thought of global warming actually occurred to me and i barely wrote anything about it. i kinda just regurgitated the info sheet for most of it  :'( :'( :'( it was just not that good, hopefully i'll pull high average or something.
but besides that, i was feeling pretty good about everything else. if there was only about 800 people it's actually really easy to get in!!
how did everyone go??
