hi guys!

im in year 11, aiming for a high chem score next year.

i had been using heinemann chemistry 2 until i had been told that it is not sufficient to just study from heinemann in order to get a 45+. i was advised to get hold of a first year uni book, so that i  can do well next year.

can anyone give me advice on which book to buy? and also please advise on how i should go about preparing for  next year. i really want a 45+ in chemistry :D

thanks in advance!
:)

Haha, you definitely do not need a 1st year textbook. I haven't personally used the Heinemann textbook for the entire year - I rely solely on Thushan's notes (you can find them in the notes section of this forum) and chemguide. These are sufficient.

I have heinemman and study On and I use both, for instance study on was better for organic chem but heinemann for equilibrium :) I'd say try and get your hands on exampro and checkpoints as well (and thushans notes in the notes section) that is probably everything I use and I've been doing well so far
