Music Performance Feedback Thread

Before you can post your performance, you'll have to make an ATAR Notes account here.Once you've done that, a little 'reply' button will come up when you're viewing threads, and you'll be able to post whatever you want! :D

Welcome to the Music performance feedback thread! In this thread, you can post videos of your pieces/parts of your pieces and get feedback from the Atar Notes community! Feel free to ask any questions about your performances and we’ll try our best to help!!

Anybody is encouraged to give feedback and suggestions. You don’t need to be a moderator, high scoring or have performed for years-all different perspectives would be incredibly valuable! I would love for this to be a really helpful, collaborative performance space!! ;D

How to post videos
If you don’t feel comfortable posting videos showing yourself/your face (which is completely fine!!) feel free to post audio videos of your pieces or whatever you are comfortable with.

The two ways I have uploaded videos to the site are:

1. Through dropbox
I have a free dropbox account and have uploaded videos to it (lower definition works faster). From there, you press share in the top right corner of the page and then copy link. Anybody with the link is able to view the video. To learn how to hyperlink, click here!!

2. Through Youtube
I have a YouTube account attached to one of my Gmail accounts. If you upload your video and mark it as unlisted then only people with the YouTube link are able to view it. When posting to AN, use the code for the video to directly upload.

I thought I'd get the ball rolling - I found this video of a performance my brother and I did in 2015. It is his Year 10 assessment, hence me getting out of the way and looking very meek in the middle. It was so the assessor could properly see what he was up to lol

Doesn't need feedback (we're both long done our HSC now), but hey, still thought it might be cool to share :)

Sharing from, where else, my mum's youtube account ;)

I thought I'd share some pieces as well! These are two of my HSC pieces from last year. They don't have the piano parts so they sound a little empty at times. I used these videos for my UNSW audition. Doesn't need feedback either (I'm playing even harder pieces now!).
