What score out of 90 will get you a 40 raw??

I remember reading somewhere it was something like a 82/90 or so. Is this true??

According to the stats, you need 156/180 to get an A+ on the exam which would get you at least a 40 (probably higher). That's only 78/90! So, you can lose 12 marks and still potentially get a 40.

i heard 3 a+ can still get you as low as a 38 O.o

That's weird, I got 3 A's last year which ended up being a 38.

it depends on the subject.. A+A+A+ in english will get you 40+ because an A+ in english represents top 7% and 40+ is top 8%

whereas other subjects, maybe not. i got A+A+A in revs and only got 38.

according to the vcaa website A+ for eco exam represents top 10%. therefore is about 39-50 study score range. and yep its 156/180. ie 78/90.

so 80/90 should get you 40+

hmm doesnt sound too hard, but i bet it is rofl.

Ive average High A+'s all year for SAC's around about 97-98% ish.

I got 91% on a prac eco exam damn multiple choice [ and they were easy ones ] got 5 wrong lmao, and only lost 2 marks in analysis  .. hmm *fingers crossed*

I'm so nervous about the upcoming exam... You can easily lose marks in the multiple choice q's and the ones over 6 marks..

Plus the examiners can pull out anything regarding the current state of the economy.

Plus they put it on the same day as the first Methods exam

It does, unfortunately.

If you average Cs and you're in the top 3 in your class, then it is very likely that your VCAA SAC mark will be dragged down by the impending exam and SAC standardisation.

As a general rule, if your class/school is good at a subject, you will be standardised up. If your class/school is bad at something, you will be standardised down.
