This is going to sound terrible...but..... I'm still trying to work it out! :-\ :D

This is my plan so far;
I'm running at least 3 times a week and have set dates at which I want to be at a certain distance;
I want to be at 10km by the 24th of August
12km by 26th of September
15km by 20th of October
20km by 17th of November

I'll slowly work up to each distance...

Does this sound impossible or what? Does anyone have any advice? :D

I don't think that 10-12 would take more than a month, but besides that, it sounds good!

Remember to do different distances in the week...

2 for the speed,
5 for the fun,
10 to get ready
etc...

Thursday - building up the distance (not a 10km yet...sorry!

Never any need to be sorry with something like this! If you give it a crack, that's a win in itself. ;D

Can't wait to hear your running updates, though. You've got this. 👊

Thank you so much for your help...you sound like you must do a lot of running! :D
I've made a weekly plan around your idea...
Monday- speed 2km
Thursday - building up the distance (not a 10km yet...sorry!)
and a 5km on saturday!

That is a really good plan. Keep it up!

Went for a 5km run today marking the start of my journey towards 20km!

My feet are hurting a little bit and I'm not proud of my time but, I still went the whole 5km.

Great job, that's an awesome way to start. The longest I've ever run is only 4km, so that sounds great to me :P Keep it up!

Went for a 2km today that was not so fast ::) ;D

Just adding quote of Sarah Condor's that I love;
'Remember, the feeling you get from a good run is far better than the feeling you get from sitting around wishing you were running.'

I haven't done any updates since last Tuesday because I didn't really do my planed runs and I am a bit ashamed of what i did do...but still, I have decided to be completely honest on what I did do, so here goes.

On Thursday I didn't leave enough time throughout the day, so when it was dark, I ended up going on the treadmill for .... wait for it ... 3 km's! :-\

Than on Saturday, I made a whole 2km.

I am trying hard not to make excuses... ::) but I am still proud that I was able to at least get out and run on those days, and will hopefully get back to the right distances this week! :D

And as I have no idea what use my wins and losses are to all you awesomely supportive people, here's another quote that I love and will need to remember this week!
"Don't stop when your tired. Stop when your done."

Heya friend!
Ur incredibly brave putting this up on here... good on you! I can't rake up the guts to do anything like this because I don't even know if I can run 1km! Being the 29th August... have you run 10km yet?
