Being able to sleep in and not having to wake up to an alarm!

I've had to wake up at 6-7am everyday for the past week for work and finally being able to sleep in because of Lunar New Year is an amazing feeling!!

feels -in the same breath and also somewhat spiritual, turning off/deleting all your alarms from your phone and not having to count the hours of sleep you will get.

I saw the sun rise this morning as I was on the train. It was beautiful.

Signs that you're getting up too early include:

A double spare period in the morning on Mondays, and some hot berry tea.

The year 7’s are on camp, the school is so much quieter ;D

As an added bonus a few of my teachers are on camp so those classes aren’t running (I have 3 classes running and English is only running because we have a SAC).

Wouldn't a teacher being on camp mean you would get substitute teachers?

Not at my school. There’s lots of teachers on the camp. Unit 3 classes aren’t running, most other classes are in the resource centre (so they’re effectively private study but they have to stay at school, we don’t).

So you get spare periods when this happens? :o

I was supposed to have a SAC this Thursday. My teacher is moving it to Monday, I’m on camp next week so I get to do it the Monday after ;D

I now have two SACs that week but it is definitely worth it.

A few days ago I was saying that I wanted a new desk chair. I came home today to find lots of people had started putting their hard rubbish out...including a desk chair ;D minor scratches on the leather seat covering but otherwise perfect!

The wheels on my old chair didn’t move at all anymore, I got it 2nd hand when I was 10ish.
