My mom just introduced my 7 yo brother to the riddle that goes:
"If there is a kilogram of feathers and a kilogram of stone, which one weighs more?"
Spoiler
THEY BOTH WEIGH THE SAME, ha I got you didn't I

Anyway, he can't wrap his little head around the fact that rock isn't always the heaviest - all of the measuring cups and weights are out on the kitchen counter as we attempt to show him that 'lighter' and 'heavier' things can still weigh the same sometimes! :))
Thoughts are only thoughts.
They are not you. You do belong to yourself,
even when your thoughts don't.

Isn't it awesome being able to feel superior when younger siblings don't understand something that we had to be taught only yesterday... :P

One of the perks of being in a really small school is that you are cared about much more, both individually and as a group. Recently all these parents and teachers have been showering us Yr 12s with so much awesome food, we got scones with jam and cream today, it just feels so good to feel that people who you wouldn't even know without school care about you! ;D

Being woken up by my youngest sister by giving me a cuddle and telling me that she loves me. Such a cute moment! 😍

Same at my school! I guess that's year 12 privilege? Sometimes it feels odd to be in year 12 knowing so many people have come before you, and we're all just repeating the same year 12 experience year after year, learning the same content and worrying over the same exams. All the same it's a unique experience

There was a toddler on the tram behind me and she kept pointing at me and being like 'hair' and 'ear' and it was so cute. She got super shy though and hid behind the seat when I turned around to face her and then she went back to labelling things and holding onto my jumper. It was super cute haha

I know I usually sook about trains, but I'm very glad for the city loop rn, I've made my connecting train home because of it 😍

Also doubly glad, because dad would've been pissed if I wasn't on this train (as I would've been home at 11 and he's tired) so I've avoided that awkward situation. (He brings me home from my station as the area I live in is dodgy af after 7pm :') )

Finishing any coding assignment whatsoever. And seeing that your code actually works.

Code is like magic to me. Can see how this would be satisfying.
