From my experience, a lot of things in Unit 1+2 are repeated in Units 3+4.  The only major thing that is not repeated is nuclear physics.

I think at MacRob, they don't have 1+2.  appianway, please correct me if I'm wrong.

It shouldn't be too much extra work at all, I believe.
Although it is of course best to read over and get some understanding on most of the 1/2 topics (not nuclear, as gloamglozer said)
Remember, remember the 5th of November

2010 - MM CAS (47) - Cisco 1+2 (pass :P)
2011 - Eng - Phys - Chem - Spesh - Latin - UMAT
ATAR - 99.00+ plz... :)

Feel free to PM me for anything :D

units 1/2 arent that necessary, u dont look into the different components of motion and the electricity is pretty basic.

at MacRob you are allowed to do 3/4 in year 11 but Physics Unit 2 is recommended :S

I don't think doing 1&2 is necessary. I'm glad I did though, cause it gave me a chance to get ahead in my other subjects this year :)

Wise? Of course not. Doable? Easy. The only useful things you learn are a few basic electronics things, kinematics equations and some crap to do with forces. Put in the right words and they're all very simple things.

i agree - units 1/2 not very important but better than not doing it all (this is logical)
