So far this year I've been averaging only 80% in my SAC's. So far I've only done 3 SAC's. Am I on track for a 40 Raw?
Thanks, Davoo!

Are you near the top in terms of ranking for the SACs? If so, then aim to kill the exam and there would be no reason why a 40 is not achievable.
Best of luck for Methods. :)
-
You need straight A+s
-
I haven't been achieving straight A+'s. Haven't even gone over 90 for a single SAC :(
I'm not @ the top. I'm kinda average... (middle)
How much are SAC's worth in Methods? 17%?

Is your class good? If it's just an average class and you get around that for your exams, probably looking at 33-35ish?. I'm just guessing atm, because all I know is that a few people ended with 35 with constant A's.
-
I'd look at mid-high 30s to very low 40s, given St Kevin's results in the past.
-
hey guys just wondering what kinda raw score im lookin at
sac marks so far : 57,97,68 so 74% average and im guessing around 25th out of 60 people
and if i get B+ on both exams

32-34, if you have high B+s
It really is hard to guess.

Lets say ur an average student for methods..
getting around 80s for Sacs and Tests.
Is it hard to achieve a good mark in the exam?
-
depends what skewl you go to.
if it's an elite skewl like MHS or scotch, then ur on track.
You need to achieve mid to high A+ in ur exams.

its an average private school. Nothing elite, although hard working students.
My class is pretty good.
To get like a 35 raw.. Would
A B+ (B+ or A) do it??

to get 35 :
A,A,A
or
A,B+,A
or
A,B,A+

I don't think it's possible to get 35 with those scores (especially if that last score is B+)
-
hmm ok..
its CAS BTW
-
if u have one B+ in any GA, then you must get above B+ in the other two GA's.
-
You need straight A+s
Not true.
I got:
SACs: A+
Exam 1: A
Exam 2: A+
And finished with 40 raw. Although, I was ranked #1 in probably an average school.
-
didnt /0 get 48 raw with A in exam 1?
-
Yep. I would assume that he had a really high A (37/40 or so) and two perfect/near-perfect A+s though.
-
didnt /0 get 48 raw with A in exam 1?
Yes, he was 0.5 off A+, so it was basically an A+. Other 2 A+ were all high A+.
-
What if your average in SAC's is say a D+...
and then in situation 1 on your exam you get A and A
and then in situation 2 you get A+ and A+ on the exam?
37/38 raw any chance?
Was initially aiming for 40 raw but choked on the SAC's and yeah pretty much fucked everything up.

Probably not for situation 1
Maybe for situation 2...
D+ in sacs will really hurt you.

hmmm, i averaged about 86% on my SACs last year and only got 39, you might need to get high A+ for both the exams to get a 40.
but yea it could depend on the school you're at aswell, the SACs that you did might be really hard.

In methods my aim was to achieve 40 (I got 39, still happy) and I was averaged about 80% in SAC's but then I got an A for tech free and a A+ for tech active exam so my SAC's went up to A+! With methods the aim is to do as many practice exams as possible and to be a gun at probability! At my school we all sucked at probability, hence, the highest studyscore was 42. But if you can understand the weird world of probability and do heaps of practice exams, you should be able to get 40.

yep, to be in the 35 range you need to be getting straight A's. You need to be getting straight A+'s to pass 40.
-
Would
SACs: A+ (92%)
Exam 1: A (high)
Exam 2: A+ (mid)
get over 40?

Those are pretty much the marks I got to get 40.
Actually, I probably got a lowish A+ for exam 2, so those scores might do a little better.
