Scoring 40 Raw in Methods
« on: June 10, 2009, 03:06:17 pm »

So far this year I've been averaging only 80% in my SAC's. So far I've only done 3 SAC's. Am I on track for a 40 Raw?

Thanks, Davoo!
2009:
Math Methods: 35 [41]
Vietnamese: 22 [26]

2010:
Chemistry: 40+
Physics: 45+
Specialist Maths: 40+
English: 45+
Japanese: 30+

Hopefully: 99+
Ambition: Medicine, Pharmacy or Radiography.

Ignore the above. I've failed Year 12 and life. I've had an epiphany... I'm destined to become a gigalo.

Are you near the top in terms of ranking for the SACs?  If so, then aim to kill the exam and there would be no reason why a 40 is not achievable.

Best of luck for Methods.  :)

You need straight A+s

I haven't been achieving straight A+'s. Haven't even gone over 90 for a single SAC :(

I'm not @ the top. I'm kinda average... (middle)

How much are SAC's worth in Methods? 17%?

Is your class good? If it's just an average class and you get around that for your exams, probably looking at 33-35ish?. I'm just guessing atm, because all I know is that a few people ended with 35 with constant A's.

I'd look at mid-high 30s to very low 40s, given St Kevin's results in the past.

depends what skewl you go to.
if it's an elite skewl like MHS or scotch, then ur on track.
You need to achieve mid to high A+ in ur exams.

its an average private school. Nothing elite, although hard working students.

My class is pretty good.
To get like a 35 raw.. Would
A B+ (B+ or A) do it??

or
A,B,A+

I don't think it's possible to get 35 with those scores (especially if that last score is B+)
