Many people are probably going back to school next week.
Who's happy about going back?

-
Why can't we all just screw year 12 and send the universities letters saying "LET ME IN ALREADY"?
-

lol work work work and no play?.
I had at least 2 hrs of cs once every 2 days, probably everyday even :)

Not looking forward to school. Since last year, I have started becoming really lazy and because of that I've done no homework and read none of my books (well... I've read nearly 2 of them). I also can't motivate myself to do anything. What follows is me panicking and my parents wishing I was still in yr7, because then I wouldn't inflict them with all my stress.
It's also kinda strange to be going into yr12 knowing it's your final year. I was never prepared for yr11 and that continued throughout that year. I feel sad (already) and a bit excited to finally finish school at the end of this year... (and to go on schoolies - wooh!)
I think this year will probably the best and worst year I will ever have.
-

wtf drownz u spaz
i like learning :|

then i like it too drownz

Hey! I've read.... umm.... 2 books. I've just finished Sense and Sensibility. It took forever. And I'm doing politics now and Renaissance tomorrow and I'm ignoring maths. Probability can go to hell. Time can be better spent watching episodes of Time Team and Top Gear.
-
Yeh, i haven't managed to do the psych course properly (i just picked up the subject)

make that 3 weeks as of yesterday.
Now that's scary! I feel so unprepared. I'm afraid I'm going to leave something that I need.
-

You watch Time Team :)...me too. I've finally finished all holiday homework with 13 hours before classes start.
-
I haven't bothered with half my holiday homework. I'll make up for all the time lost in the hols during the year. Got nothing better to do after school.

that's the spirit! probability = laaaaame. and time team + top gear = win.

lol. If I brought everything I probably wouldn't be able to fit myself in there. I'm just afraid of random things, like if I don't bring a book that I find that I really want to read while I'm there or something.

well yeah, that does happen. everytime i go back to melbourne i find myself bringing up more books...
my room was absolutely packed last year, and it'll be even moreso this year, as having a balcony = an extra door in my room = less wall space.
-
bloody hate administration day, so boring...
House meeting
Assembly
Year level Assembly
House meeting
Sports meeting
Services meeting
godamn
-
My first day of yr12 was stressed that much. Just a random talk in the morning, straight into class, year level photos and a quick assembly at the end of the day. It was much more low key and less stressful than I thought it would be. What made the day so great was the common room. Although I'm slightly weirded out by the number of appliances in the room: two fridges, a freezer, a microwave, a sandwich maker, a grill (where you put sandwiches in), two toasters and a rice cooker. And no, I'm not kidding about the rice cooker. Looks like its going to be an awesome year.

:o Damn your common room sounds awesome. Mine's only got 2 microwaves, a mini fridge and a sink with boiling water LOL.
-
don't complain...mine has a cupboard and a vending machine that mostly just sells water. we don't even have a fridge..
we have a sink and a wall-mounted water heater... cupboard with nothing in it that no one uses, and nothing else, NOTHING else :P
-
WTF? Ours had one microwave (put in term 3) and 4 computers that had food stuck in them (stupid people eating and playing games at the same time). I think this years year 12s get a better deal though, apparently they get a cofee/hot chocolate machine.
-
Computers in a common room? Weird...
I think the best part of our room is the couches and the blasting music. Also the cute little cubbyholes for everyone's mugs and stashes of milo, coffee and tea.
-
I don't recall having a common room. Did MHS have a common room (for the other MHSers here)?
-
we had nothing. NOTHING. No microwaves, no appliances and nothing fancy.
all we got was some cushy seats and our own toilet block (if that counts for anything)
-
I don't think we appear to have Fridges, Couches, Coffee Machines.
I am jealous..
-
We had 2 microwaves, a fridge, a sink and a vending machine that sells coffee last year. They are renovating the kitchen this year though so it hasn't been open up yet. We have like 7 computers and a printer in our common room...

WOW. That is pretty awesome.
-
We have a mini fridge and thats it.. some crappy seats that are plastic.. :-| We got the worst part of it.. People with microwaves, count your blessings.. If only we had a coffee machine.. if only :(
-
Computers in a common room? Weird...
Well, it wasn't technically a "common room", everyone refered to it as a "study room" but little to no study was done in there, so it became more of a common room.
-
our "Study" room is alright, smallish fridge, microwave, around 6 computers, lots of tables..
-
Had to heat up food in the microwave today. Queue took nearly 15 mins. And the milk was all gone by lunchtime - I wanted to have a milo :(
On a plus note I had 3 frees I completely wasted today, as my Renaissance and Methods teachers weren't here. Yay!
-
We have no special room :(
-
Who gets to go in your common rooms? Is it only prefects?
-
Perfects? We don't have any. Our common room is for all Yr 12s
