Study Score Please?
Exam 1: Mid-High A+
Exam 2: Low B+
SACs: Low-Mid A (scaled)
-
38-40 ?
-
What about:
SACS: High A+, top of a strong cohort.
Exam 1: High A/ borderline A+
Exam 2: Mid A+
thanks!
-
38-40 ?
No chance sadly. :(
-
Probs you'll be closer to 36, 38-40 is hard to broach without two solid A+s
Have you looked on the study score calculator?

@ Linkage - 39-44
-
what yall recon:
exam 1 LOW A+
exam 2 VERY high A+, i think 90/90 :D
sacs A+ avg.
any chance of a 45 given my mid yr was most likely a very low A+? (probs 82/90?)
-
@gamblor0 - 45ish for sure.
-
how much does physics get scaled anyway?
so what if i did middy in sacs B to low B+
and exam 1: A
and axam 2:A
35+? =D

Exam 2: Mid A+

SACs count for sh1t, really. They'll depend on the marks the rest of your class gets on these exams too.
And again, without a high A+ on your exam one you will be pushing it for above 40, which is a bit sad =c
-
how about
SAC A+
exam 1: high A
exam 2: mid A+

Nah I think 40+ is more than likely. For methods last year I got A+ sacs, A for exam 1 (borderline) and A+ exam 2 and picked up 42.

Yep agree.
These are the rough calculations I do:
- SACs ignore somewhat because not enough info is known about school, average SAC mark, etc
- A+ is usually the top 9-12%.
- 40+ is top 8%
- Percentage of students tapers towards 50
- Use that to determine a rough SS

Study Score Please?
Exam 1: Mid-High A+
Exam 2: Low B+
SACs: Low-Mid A (scaled)
lol.... hahah
lol shit i just checked the answers... i think i got an E
-
Hey experts, what am I looking at?
SACS: high A+ (unit 3), low A+ (unit 4) - strong cohort
Exam 1: A+ (didn't receive SOM, assuming it's a mid A+ 85/90)
Exam 2: High A+ (ATM looking at 90/90 fingers crossed :))
-
how about
Exam 1 : low A+
Exam 2 : low A+/High high A
Sacs: Near Perfect in a polarised class. lots of good, lots of crap people.
-
I hope you're all right. ;)
And we have a pretty strong cohort up at the top end. We had a few A+s in the midyear, and potentially the same amount in this one, plus me hopefully...
-
lol, sorry to break the trending A+s
but can I roughly get more than 30 if i got:
C+ for exam 1
B+ for exam 2?
-
@ Chavi 44-48
@byr0003 38-43
-
@gwenny - Haha, I think you should be fine. The mean is somewhere around a C+ usually, so perhaps 32-36.
-
Midyears B
end of year D
sacs B?
scrape a 25?
-
Hmm... B and D kind of balances things out. I think you should surpass 25, perhaps even 30
-
Hi will a High b+ for exam one and a high A yield a 36?
-
Yeah I think so, around there.
-
what about
A+ sac
High a for exam 1
Low a+ for exam 2
still possible to get a 40?
-
Hrm, I think I saved my physics score!
SACs- A
Midyear - B+ (high)
End of year - 84-88/90
-
@ xZero - Yeah possibly, depending on how strong your SAC marks are.
@ bomb - Not a physics student so don't know much about potential cutoffs this year but I reckon about a 37-39.
-
what about me
Exam 1 mid B
Exam 2 High A
SAC A average in a average cohort im about 8th out of 40 ppl
-
Exam1: 82/90
Exam2: 86/90
SACS: A+
other thread got raped -.-

Dude...no chance, screwed my other subjects.
if I get ~ 90, gonna go apeshit (out of happiness).
-
Hmm well it's all about getting into your course I suppose. But I did the calc for you and I reckon you have a higher score in your sights... But, no pressure :) Just ace it unexpectedly :)

How the hell did you end up with 95-98 O.o
-
Exam 1: 85/90
Exam 2: 83/90
SACs A+
-
Depends what the cutoffs are (CBF looking it up for exam 1) but probably 42 or something if that is a low-mid A+ for both.
-
Exam 1: 88.5/90
Exam 2: 88/90
SACS: High A+
Can someone predict for me? :)
-
SACS: A
Exam 1: A
Exam 2: A+
What am I looking at with that?
-

Wow, I thought that would be 38 max lol
38-41
-
Well it depends on what sort of an A and A+ it is. I assumed the exam average was a very low A+. So somewhere around there, but I could be a bit off.
-
What do you guys think i will get
Sacs - Low-medium A+
Mid year exam - low/medium A+
End year exam - low/ medium A+
-
41-46
-
41-46
thanks

Not sure what my mid-year was as I didn't get a statement of marks but I'd say it would be a mid-ranged A. Think my end of year will be a low to mid A+ and sacs a high b+/low a/mid a (I don't really know).
-
Hmm okay you should around that range, maybe at the lower end if it is a low A+.
