Got into BSc at Monash, but want Engineering - what to do?
« on: January 24, 2009, 04:09:35 pm »
I've gotten into BSc at Monash, which was my 6th preference, and I still want to do engineering in the future. What would be the best way to do this? Should I finish the Science course focusing on physics maths and chemistry, then move onto an engineering degree afterwards? Or would it be quicker to try and transfer into BE after this year?

It would be quickest for you to do subjects similar to the ones offered in Engineering and then try to transfer at the end of the year. If that doesn't work, for some reason, it'll be possible to do engineering after you graduate from science, but as you'd be doing 2 degrees, it would take twice as long.
