I would go to the city with mates to watch fireworks but they got pepper-sprayed last time lol

How did everyone's plans eventuate??

City with friends and do whatever.

Lol didn't end up doing this... Instead, friend threw a party at hers. Swimming + our own fireworks + drinking = awesome New Years. So glad I didn't go to the city, it must have been really shit and crowded and wet.

I usually do something that's way out of the norm. I sleep through 12.00am \o/.

I ended up trying to stay up to watch the fireworks, fell asleep at 11pm, was woken at 12 to watch the fireworks and then fell asleep again. I need to get a life.

But I have had much more exciting new years celabrations,

- When we were going from 2001/2002 we went to a family friends for a party.
- When we were going from 2005/2006 we went to a family friends for a party.
- When we were going from 2007/2008 we went to our uncle & auntie's for a party.

The thing is I'm not the kind of person who would organize a party, I would only go to a party if I was invited. I'm also just very lazy during the holidays to not stay home. I probably should make changing this a new year resolution.
