Is Scientology a Religion?

Watching a news program on Scientology wants me to ask you guys whether you believe Scientology is a religion.

People who know me on VN obviously know that I 100% believe that Scientology is NOT a religion (fan of the saying "religion is free, Scientology is neither"), but I want to know what you guys think.

Also what really bugs me is when people call 'scientists' scientoligists.

According to Sunday Night you need to pay $300,000 to become a scientologist.

Scientology is like (Charles) Manson's dream!

It's actually considered a cult in France.
They actually have policies to deal with people who criticise it. It's absolutely disgusting some of the things they do and I think it should be outlawed.

I've walked past it a few times. It gives me the chills. The office inside looked very... disinfected... beyond clean.

I remember a Boston legal show where Alan says that in a case. Why did that show have to finish?

Yeah on TV it was like too clean, so clean that if you spend too much time in there your immune system will become weak.

You know what gave me the chills, those two women representing scientology. They looked non-human.

Apart from having to pay out more money to get healed, what exactly makes scientology different from other religions? I don't see the difference.

Guy creates creation myth, markets it to the world.
