Wouldnt it be easier to employ experienced managers rather than graduates?

An experienced manager would never step into an underpaid position like this. And they need the energy of youth. The retail world is quite horrible.

I went to a careers fair a few weeks ago and apparently I lack 'an aldi brain' (you're supposed to be able to name the different brands of chocolate stocked by aldi)

My housemate works for Aldi.

She remembers what's on special, its brand, how much it's for, and how much cheaper it is than Coles. THAT's what I'd call an Aldi brain.
