Nice one. Who knows, maybe we'll get the 100th percentile and be two of the lucky six that get straight in :)

I really like Hobart. Spent a bit of time there last summer; seems really chilled out, with lots of nice cafes, galleries etc.

Haha, I think i am about 99.9999% sure I did not got 100th percentile, but yeah who knows!
Well i've never been to TAS, i'll perhaps go to the Open Day next year as i'm not applying this year for it, to see how it is!

You've gone to heaps of open days man, props. In your opinion from being on campus etc, what would make UNSW more desirable than a 5 year course at UNE/UNCLE or UWS?

For UQ:
Last years second round offer cutoff was 156. With 170 there's chance you'll get a first round offer, and a really good chance you'll get a second round offer. You need to get an ATAR of 99+ to be considered though.
And if you do specialist or a lote then the ATAR requirement drops to about 96.5-97.

These are the non-rural stats..

No interview is required for UQ :) Second round offers come out in late Jan. You should check their website regarding rural entry etc.

Good luck. Might see you up there :)

On the website it says that the benefit of applying as a rural dude is that you can have a lower UMAT score than a standard applicant. It doesn't mention anything about it affecting the ATAR requirement :(

you dont apply for the deans rural list, it gets offered to you... and i have no idea when, probably around the time when you get notified about interviews

thanks! and btw what do you think the ATAR would be for rural applicants??
rural gives you an advantage in getting an interview like stroodle said but i think you should consider applying for ERC med (if you havnt already) because i think you would have a good chance getting into that since you are rural :)
