Business Or Legal??

Hey guys, just wondering if i can get some help here.. i cant decide whether it is beter ot do legal or business. anybody whose done them, go any advise??. i was hoping to get well in either one, so which ones easier?? and keeping in mind that business goes down by 2-3. thanks:D

Hmm I haven't done legal so I can't shed some light there, but as for business management, I'd say it's not that easy to do well in, but having said that the concepts are quite easy to grasp if you're willing to do some research then yeah you'll do well in bus.man

I've done Bus man 3&4, but only Legal 1&2. I reckon you should do whatever you are most interested in. But if you don't care, in my opinion, Business has much simpler and clear cut concepts, whearas I found legal to be a bit vague as to what they were asking for. If you're not great at essays, bus man may be better suited, as it was all short answer questions, no essays . That's what I loved. Downside- it is pretty boring at times. However, I had to work harder to get an A+ in legal.

But that's just me, some people may find Legal easier than bus man.

Well yeh I agree with Elaine... in legal there are a lot of higher mark questions on sacs and the exam that require essay style responses. If you don't feel comfortable doing that then stick with busman.
However saying that, Legal is pretty easy to grasp, taking notes is essential and having the study design beside you ensures that you focus on whats important.

Oh and Costargh wouldn't you need to take notes and use the study design to guide you when studying with all subjects anyways?

LOL!!! Some subjects are less reliant on the study design to sift the important info from the irrelvant stuff.
EG.
In my legal text book there is a lot of stuff like "going further" and gives you a history of stuff like our legal system etc... not examinable but if you didn't know better you may study it because you wanted to be on the safe side. Other subjects may not teach you irrelevant stuff

YES legal has so much irrelevant stuff! No one read the 'grey boxes' (we were using 'making or breaking the law') and my teacher was exasperated with us. I reckon it's also not only from the textbook you have to filter stuff from, but also the teacher. My teacher gave us LOADS of useless information (eg for change in the law she used like lessons to teach us about stem cell research). So yes, you HAVE to think for yourself what is important and what is not.

Oh so like background information sort of thing? You get that in business management too, some of the stuff you learn you wont be asked to know for the exam... i.e history behind the change management theories.. anyways lol i get where you're coming from though ^_^

Most of the concepts can be grasped after reading the information once and it's a subject that doesn't really require the most intense study patterns to get a 40+
