Amused yet very concerned now...

I seem to have gotten worse over time for the UMAT. Went through a couple of drills that I did in January again today and my gosh... not only did I get the ones wrong... wrong again, a couple of the ones I got right previously, I also got wrong. Amused for the briefest moment as I thought it was pretty ridiculous to be getting worse instead of better but now I am mightily afraid ahhhhh.  Is there an effective way to study for the UMAT? Sadly, as I'm one majorly disorganised student, I have left all the preparation for UMAT till last minute which I really regret now! Just a month left to go!  :( Any advice for efficient studying?

personally i wouldn't bother with the umat but try to focus on section 3 now as you only have a month to go and perhaps learn how to speed read as well (if you haven't already! ;))

don't count your progress on the practice tests, it really counts down on the day of the UMAT and the test itself..it's usually different, but I agree with the above, you can improve in section 3

Okay, will try my best to do all I can within the time left then! :)

Sigh, however, it's still very disheartening every time I attempt a few practice questions though. Sadly, doesn't seem like I'm cut out for med at the rate of my progress with these puzzle-like questions. :( Ahh, isn't this bad attitude?!

Are you doing the umat too? :) If so, good luck to you.

EDIT: Oops! I just read the other thread. Finished already? Aww, I can't wait to finish! By the way, a little off topic, but how did you find out what you wanted to do after year 12? I'm still indecisive about what I want to study. Although I'm currently aiming for med, I'm still unsure if this is the right choice for me... So how did you decide?

I already had some idea of what I wanted to do, so I thought I might persist in that to see if it's really for me, thank God now I already know, set for my future, would have really hated to be unsure of not knowing what to study when i'm in uni!

but you're in year 12, so you have lots of time. You have med in mind, which is good, keep persisting in it, if you have any other careers that you like or seem interested, search up about it, see what's required, and try to look into their work field.

You'll so know more likely where your heading when the UMAT results come in, it should give you an idea/and where you'll be at.

All the best, UMAT was horrible for me :)
