I figure rather than making posts for each unit, given there's a few of us it might be good to just make a thread :P I figure it might serve useful to someone in the future as well.

Did any of you fellas do ENG1010, ENG1020, ENG1040, or ENG1050?

If so, were the textbooks for the latter 3 useful?

Hope results went well. Feel free to ask questions about any of the other units, I did ENG1060 and ENG1091 last sem.

I heard from a mate who did structures this semester (cant remember the unit code) that the textbook isnt necessary and that you can rely on the lecture notes.

I assume they aren't very useful cause they aren't many ads selling these textbooks on marketplace.
