Writing task on exam

Bonjour !

So I'm not going to lie the French faculty at our school is pretty mediocre. Our school doesn't usually go too well with french, so I was wondering if you knew some of the things you're required to incorporate in the writing task for the exam to score well...

Obviously VCAA is very tight about the word limit and time is abundant in the exam so they must be looking for some key things included.

Help a frère out?

Make sure you include the key things for your text type - 5 points right there.

eg. Formal letter requires you to always vouvoyer the recipient, have date and adress at the top, sign off, etc.

Try and play with snazzy vocab & grammar.

Minor mistakes eg. gender/basic tense conjugation will cost more than mistakes with more complex stuff, so faire attention!
I won the GAT: 49/50/50.
