Just bought 5 rims of plain white paper and a 1600 page yield toner :) For $55.

i wonder how many trees are wiped out during exam times :P

i wonder how many trees are wiped out during exam times :P
At least most paper would come from plantations where the trees were specifically grown to be cut down.

oh, well that mitigates things... i was feeling sorry for myself haha

Plantations must be pretty efficient though, Trees take like 20+ years to mature.. maybe they give them stroids?

We (240 yr12s at my school) kill a forest the size of a football oval a day - Why?: FREE Printing! Though the school fee pays for that...
20pgs per exam. English, about 8. 20 exams per subject - except maths, 40. We do 5 subjects, most do maths.
= 20((20x3) + 40) + (20x8)
= 2,150-ish sheets per kid.
