How far behind is my class?

We're about halfway through chapter four in the essentials text book. Not even. It says on a sheet we were given at the start of the year that we should have done chapters 5 and 7 by now, and we haven't even had a test on chapter 3.  How far behind are we? Can we catch up?

We just had our first test today, starting Chapter 6 on Thursday. When do you have your first test?

Think of it like this
4 Terms.
If u have all the topics done by the end of term 3, its alright.
How many topics are there anynway? like 10-11?
So maybe 3-4 chapters per term?
PS: my school has only done chapter 1 +2 of the heinemann lol.

The question is not whether your class is behind but are you? Nothing better than getting ahead and then revising with your extra time

Theres like 18 chapters or something
but a lot of them are quite small

and yeah, I'm getting ahead of the class so that I won't be behind
still worrying though

wombifat, I'm on the same boat as you.  I use the same textbook and we've just finished chapter 4 despite all the other classes who are still at the start of chapter 4.

Don't worry, my Methods cohort at school will be the first to go down the gurgler.

Essentials - 18 Chapters - 4 are revision chapters. So practically 14.
Heinemann - 11 Chapters.
Dont think you need to worry too much about it, teachers should be following a procedure/timeline.

Thats the thing, they gave us a timeline earlier and we're behind it
BUT i jsut realised that chapter 4 is very easy and so are a couple of others, so we can probably catch up :)
