during reading time, allocate 5 minutes to planning for your response. try to extract where the marks are awarded and break down the question into simpler terms. then decide when you will attempt it, straight away, at the end or some time within. I'm going to attempt it halfway through around the 1 hour stage. Its all about focus and preparation.

^ Good tips!

I'm going to probably spend a minute once I get to the question quickly planning how I'll set out my response (structure is crucial in the 10 marker) and making sure everything I'll be setting out to include covers the question. It would suck to write a lot of content for the 10 marker response only to realise at the end you misread it, or forgot to cover a crucial point.

Tips: Read it.. thats why its reading time, and plan what you will write, target the easy questions = confidence = high.

should we tackle esay questions first? or the long questions that we know how to answer first
