I think I got 61/72. Got two wrong in MC. Completely stuffed up the methanoic acid one, and I'm unsure about the electrochemical series with the Cl and Br.

For ammonium sulfate production from sulfuric, would they penalise for wrong use of states? i didn't do NH3 as a gas

Did you do NH3 as aqueous? If so, that's fine.

i know this sounds stupid but what if we did this :


h2so4 (aq) + 2 NH4NO3 ---> NH42SO4 (AQ) + 2HNO3 (AQ)

i for some reason added the nitrate LOL, would this make a huge difference?

They have excepted it in previous years when that question has been asked. It was in an assessment report, if only I could remember which one...

With the question what gas would expect to be formed at the cathode after sometime was the answer water forming hydrogen gas or H+ (aq) forming hydrogen gas?
