yeah they didnt really seperate the students that knew there stuff and didnt .. anyone could know what calcium does.
the question they used to seperate the 40s from the 30s was the ottawa charter health promotion questions
and that was ridiculous haha

I agree with the people above! We were never taught that stuff on the Ottawa Charter! But my teacher sent us the info in an email after we'd already left and didn't make a point of us needing to know it..so unfair!

out of the whole study design they used:
AOS1 U3
burden of disease,dalys,u5mr,morbidity
biological,behavioural,social determinants
1 nutrient
colorectal cancer
AOS2 U3
social model of health
ottawa charter for health promotion
mission of vichealth
values of healthcare
AOS1 U4
UN millinium development goals
income, gender equality, education and political stability
AOS2 U4
core fuction of WHO
sustainability elements
and malaria program

pretty small amount of the study design.

I agree! I felt as though there was far too much focus on the determinants, models and the factors affecting health status in Aus and developing countries!
& for people who actually took the time and effort to know all the nutrients, and then to see calcium as a choice, it would of been quite frustrating!
...I was one of those people who didn't bother knowing the nutrients though, so its okay   :D

although they touched on few points, it covered a lot of stuff. I feel sorry for next years group; vcaa have already touched on basically everything already. Wonder what BS they will come up with next year

i thought the exam was fairly easy, the question about the ottawa charter was not in our textbook. what mark would you need to get on the exam if your average for sacs is a B, if you want a 32,33 study score in health that has already been scaled ???

To get a scaled score of 32-33, you would need a raw of about 36-37
So with B for unit 3 and 4, you would have to get A or A+ in the exam
